I do not believe people fall in love as quickly as Edward and Deliliah, but it was a romantic, sexy and entertaining fantasy.
Edward and Deliah were a good quick read. I loved them. They were a good fit. He helped her gain a much better life . He fell madly in love with her. It was totally unexpected. It changed both their worlds.
After reading some of the reviews and finding out that the Chevelier's were mentioned in the book, I could not wait to read it! I love the alpha male thing Ms. Azod has going on in her books! It was a good story with very HOT love scenes which I personally love!
Who knew going to a strip club to warn a person away from a family member would lead not only to some unbelievable sex but also having to deal with some shady charecters. This book was one wild ride. Way to go.
Delilah and Edward was an intersting blend of rich alpha male meets and falls in love with a stripper working in a shady club.
Five stars for a beautiful story of love at first sight. Delilah and Edward are an unlikely pair which makes this such a good story. It's got great sex scenes, strong characters, and a great ending. I would definitely recommend this book
This was a quick and well written read. The downside there was too much telling and not enough showing. Delilah and Edward were insta-love, soul mates who found one another after an accidental tryst in a strip club that also doubled as a brothel. Straitlaced Edward becomes a new man determined to make shy stripper Delilah his future wife and mother of his children all within the span of a weekend. The b-plot as thin as it was, was swiftly dealt with I don't think it took more than two pages to resolve. Overall it was a fairly simple read.
I'm not really into books where with less than 24 hours two strangers meet...then BOOM there in love. I'm way too much of a cynic for that sadly...but for some reason the way Edward was described as being cold and emotionally devoid...the fact that he fell so quickly worked...because as a reader you knew it was something he yearned for. For me this was a quick juicy read that I really enjoyed.
