I am a big fan of Lynette Eason's books. That said so far this series, Family Reunions, is not as good as the other books/series i have read of hers. I did pre-order the 3rd and final book in the series in hopes that it will be better. I thought I would enjoy this book (Christmas Cover- Up) more than the first book in the series,Hide and Seek, because it had more action/suspense from the beginning and held my attention. As the book progressed, it started to became unrealistic. Katie, being a seasoned police detective, would not have put herself in the situations she found herself. I did like the interaction between Katie and Jordon, and found them very likeable characters. As with the last few books I have read, I guessed the "bad guy " long before Katie and Jorden did. That part is fine because then I get to see how the criminal is discovered. Alas, the end was too perfect but maybe that is the intent of this series. I have been looking forward to reading The Deadly Reunion series by Ms. Eason but am wondering now if I want to spend the money as that series is more expensive. Being that I have loved many of the Author's books, I seem to want to continue to give her a chance to write as well as I know she can.

Fab lupus series...I m hooked! Unconditional love is mind blowing! Undeserved and overwhelming! Thank you Lord & thank you Lynette!
The story kept the reader wondering how the lives of all would work out. The ending was great and the reader could look back and see the clues were there for the conclusion.
I am so loving this latest series, Family Reunions, by Lynette Eason. In book two, Christmas Cover-up, Detective Katie Randall and FBI agent Jordan Grey work to find Katie's sister that has been missing for fourteen years. Just like book one in this series, I loved this story from cover to cover.
I just can't get enough of Lynette Eason's books! This is one of my favorites by her. I couldn't put it down. It combines suspense, mystery, love and more! It also has a sweet message of God's unconditional love for us that is freely given and one that cannot be earned. Once again, Lynette Eason doesn't let me down!
This is a very suspenseful story with strong characters and strong storyline. Filled with intrigue, mystery, faith, forgiveness, and many twists and turns. It had a love story and a surprise ending. It was difficult to put down.
Katie's been looking for her sister, Lucy, for forever, it seems. Lucy was kidnapped while Katie was helping a neighbor. Jordan only works cold cases because a child he was searching for died. Jordan's brother died in jail and Katie was the arresting officer. A great novella with lots of twists and turns! Another Lynette Eason success.
This is book two in The Family Reunions series. We were introduced to Det Katie Randall in book one, and now we get to read her story. Her sister Lucy was kidnapped years ago and Katie believes she is still out there somewhere. Katie reluctantly teams up with Jordan, a man who she has a complicated past with. Loved! Can't wait for the next one!
